Dr. Wolk is originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. He completed his Dental Degree at the University of Manitoba and practiced family dentistry in Winnipeg. He then completed the graduate orthodontic program at the University of Minnesota and received his Clinical Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science Degree in Anatomy.
Dr. Wolk, his wife and three children moved to Calgary in 1978, where he started his orthodontic practice.

Dr. Wolk is a past President of the Alberta Society of
Orthodontists and Western Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Wolk has sat on the Board of Directors of the Canadian
Association of Orthodontists since 1992 and presided as it's
National President of the CAO in 1999-2000.
Dr. Wolk is the Immediate Past President for the Pacific Coast
Society of Orthodontists, a constituent of the American
Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Wolk became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and is now a member of its College of Diplomates. The American Board of Orthodontics in 2005 recognized Dr. Wolk again through its re-certification process. He continues to offer clinical presentations to the local, national and international levels.
Dr.Wolk’s interests include the incorporation of the most recent technological advances in Orthodontics to straighten teeth. As an orthodontic specialist with over 30 years of experience, Dr.Wolk is familiar with all types of braces. Dr.Wolk uses Damon braces, as well as Invisalign and clear braces. He utilizes the latest in 3D Cone Beam tomography as an integral part of achieving straight teeth. Early treatment of orthodontic problems in children has always been a special area of interest for Dr.Wolk.
