Ronald Wolk, DMD MS

Orthodontics is a wonderful profession, full of rewards, and it gives me the opportunity to change people's lives. Seeing a child or adolescent gain the confidence they deserve makes me feel like I've played an integral part in their lives. It’s why I love coming to work every day. Seeing an adult gain a smile they always wished they had makes me feel like a magician. I have so much fun doing what I do and it thrills me to see my patients happy with their results. Creating new smiles for my patients in the most effective and efficient manner is the energy that warms my soul and has made my life truly wonderful.

Improving the care and efficiency of making people smile is the focus of my continuing education. I have always had a special interest in the early treatment of orthodontic issues in children and have years of experience using Damon® System braces and Invisalign® clear aligners. The latest technology of computer aided bracket placement using Orthocad IQ as further enhanced our terrific results. I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and have been involved in the leadership of several of our professional organizations. Taking advantage of as much continuing education as possible gives me the opportunity to provide the best treatment, and ultimately,  more beautiful smiles for my patients.

Outside the Office

I am a native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and have lived in Calgary for the last 34 years. I have three grown children: Jared, who is currently in a Masters of Financial Risk Management program, Carly, an accomplished make-up artist working out of Vancouver, and Michael, who is studying in a plumbing program at Victoria's Community College. I also have dogs to keep me company at home now that my children are away. When I have free time away from the practice, I enjoy boating, skiing, curling, fine dining, and playing golf.
